Summer is here and comes with a host of airport car service requests to JFK, Newark 
(EWR) and even Boston’s Logan Airport (BOS). Below follow a sampling of travels our customers have booked around the world.
Tennis Fever:
Fairfield County is home to a number of avid tennis fans and Grand Slam fever has been high. Most recently, a few passengers escaped to London to take in Wimbledon. However, we also helped some travelers reach JFK as jetted off to experience the Australian and French Open tournaments earlier in the year.
The best part? Connecticut and New York become a local hotbed for tennis from mid-August to early September. Yale will play host to the New Haven Open from August 17th to August 25th as a warm-up event for the U.S. Open (tournament dates August 27th to September 9th). A number of players fresh off the London Olympic Games will be participating.
Olympics:
While we have been glued to our televisions and browsers taking in two weeks of top level sporting events, we have a number of customers who are experiencing the games firsthand. London is the perfect destination as it is an easy trip from either EWR or JFK.
For those unable to make it to London for the Games, a recent release by the XL Center shows the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions bringing the Fierce Five along with a number of former Olympians to Hartford, in November. Tennis players, fresh off the Wimbledon Olympic Courts will be in New Haven ready to tune up for the year’s final Grand Slam in a little over a week.
African Safari:
We have also helped transfer a few groups of passengers from CT to JFK and Logan (BOS) as they departed on planned safaris. The thought of seeing lions, zebras and more up close must be a once in a lifetime experience!
Mission Work:
We are continuously amazed by the willingness of our customers to travel the world in pursuit of their chosen causes. The level of commitment to supporting charitable causes with time and resources is nothing short of astounding.
Transatlantic Cruise:
Transatlantic cruises are a popular summer escape for a number of our passengers. With ports of call across Europe and ending in New York, these are a great way for travelers to see multiple destinations without having to pack and unpack a number of times.
No matter the final destination, we always enjoy hearing about the trips our customers have planned. Whether traveling the world or simply making a trip to Grandma’s house we have our customers covered for all their summer travel plans.
