Does Connecticut Regulate the Number of Passengers in Limousines?

Consumer CornerYes, when it comes to chauffeured vehicles, there are passenger limitations.  Unlike other states where large limos are often seen at concert, weddings and casinos, this is not the case in Connecticut.

The maximum allowed number of passengers in a limousine is 10 (and this includes the chauffeur).  Some companies have smaller limits – it all depends on their issued permits.  The only time larger limos are permissible in CT is if they pick-up out of state and come into the state.  However, said vehicles CANNOT come into Connecticut to pick-up passengers and complete an itinerary.

If you have more than 8 passengers and want everyone in the same vehicle, the best solution, in our opinion, is a party bus.
