Winter fun

The excitement of holiday season comes with such gusto that often people are eagerly looking beyond the holidays for normalcy. For some, January will see them take off on winter getaways to warmer destinations while others will head further north or west into snow country to enjoy the cold winter months. Still other area residents will stay closer to home and wonder what adventures New York City and Connecticut hold.

NYC & Company, the City’s partnership organization in tourism and marketing endeavors today announced the dates for NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2011. Reservations will be accepted starting on January 12, 2011. Area restaurants will be serving up memorable dishes as part of the annual tradition from January 24th through February 6th.

Something for everyone:
The list continues to grow with each offering of NYC Restaurant week; this time with 35 new additions. World-renowned establishments including Le Cirque; One if by Land, Two if by Sea; Tribeca Grill and the 21 Club are just the beginning of participating eateries.
