4 Truths You Probably Don’t Know About Limo Service

Limo service is fraught with misconceptions…They’re expensive, hard to find, can only be rented for large blocks of time, are reserved for celebrities and the list goes on. We are here to dispel those myths and set the record straight.

1. Myth: Limo Service is Overpriced
Fact: On a per passenger basis, with a full vehicle of passengers, a limo is a far better deal than a sedan (almost 1/3 less per passenger). Additionally, when compared to the tangible and emotional costs of a DWI/DUI, limousine service is far and away a better deal.

2. Myth: Limousines are Only for Celebrities
Fact: While we do not check tax returns on our customers, or ask for a statement of net worth, we are fairly confident in the statement that the majority of our customers rarely fit into the aforementioned buckets. That being said, even if they did, we’re not going to divulge that information in the interest of protecting the privacy and identities of our passengers.

3. Myth: Limousines are not Environmentally Friendly
Fact: According to a leading coach builder, Royale, Lincoln and Cadillac stretch limousines are twice as efficient, on a per passenger basis, than a chauffeured Prius sedan. In Connecticut, a 120” limo (which was used in this calculation) is the largest limo that can legally be registered and rented.

4. Myth: Limos can only be booked in large blocks of time.
Fact: Rental terms and conditions are set by the limo company providing service. Airport limo trips as well as pick-up and drop-off service can often be arranged, if planned well in advance.

While we are sure there are other myths out there, these are some of the most common comments we receive from prospective passengers and customers. Do you have any questions about limo service we can help with? If so, feel free to comment below!
