How to Book a Prom Limo in Connecticut (and Yes, CT Limo Service Still Exists)
Short answer: Yes, Connecticut still has full-service limousine and black car companies. Absolute Transportation in North Haven, CT books prom transportation every spring. To book a prom limo, call (203) 938-0000 or request a quote on our prom limo page as soon as your school announces the prom date. Have these ready: your date, how many students are riding, every pickup address, the photo stop, the venue, and the return time. Every Absolute prom booking includes a strict no-alcohol policy and a parent contact on file. Parents get a text when students are picked up, when they're dropped at the venue, and when the return ride starts.
Does Connecticut limo service still exist?
Yes. Some people think limousines have gone away because of rideshare apps and the end of some well-known airport-shuttle brands, but chauffeured limo and black car service is still running across Connecticut. Absolute Transportation is a North Haven company that has held an NYC TLC license since about 2009, and we're registered under USDOT 1567094. Our black fleet covers proms, weddings, airport transfers to JFK, LaGuardia, Newark and Bradley, corporate travel, and hourly chauffeur service.
Rideshare won't get you what a prom night needs: one licensed chauffeur, one vehicle, and one fixed itinerary for the whole evening, with a parent kept in the loop.
How to book a prom limo in Connecticut, step by step
- Lock in the prom date and count your group. Include every rider, including dates from other schools. Then you can pick the right vehicle size.
- Choose your vehicle type. Absolute runs a black fleet: the Lincoln MKT stretch limousine, luxury SUVs (Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Aviator, Chevrolet Suburban), and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter / Ford Transit vans for bigger groups who want to ride together. We confirm exact seating for your group when you book. For a large group, two matching vehicles often work better than one.
- Plan the itinerary. List every pickup address, the photo stop (a home, park, or school), the venue, and the drop-off addresses after prom. Most prom nights take about 4–6 hours from the first pickup to the last drop-off.
- Add a parent contact. Every prom booking needs a parent or guardian contact, and any change to the itinerary on prom night goes through that parent.
- Get your quote and confirm. Call (203) 938-0000. We'll give you one clear quote, with tolls included and gratuity applied.
How far in advance should we book prom transportation?
Book as early as you can, ideally once the prom date is announced. In Connecticut, prom season runs through the spring, and the most popular Saturday nights fill up first. If your prom is coming up soon, call us anyway. We'll tell you honestly what's still available.
What are the prom rules at Absolute Transportation?
- No alcohol. Absolute has a strict no-alcohol policy for every prom booking.
- Parent contact on file. Every booking includes a parent or guardian, and changes to the itinerary go through them.
- Parent text updates. Your chauffeur texts the parent contact at pickup, at venue drop-off, and when the return ride starts.
- Approved stops only. The car goes only to the stops on the itinerary you agreed to.
- No chaperones. Absolute does not provide chaperones. Parents and the school stay responsible for supervision. The chauffeur's job is safe, licensed driving on your agreed route.
Which prom vehicle is right for our group?
| Group | Good fit at Absolute |

| Couple or small group | Lincoln Aviator or Cadillac Escalade / Chevrolet Suburban |
| Classic limo photos | Black Lincoln MKT stretch limousine |
| Larger friend group riding together | Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or Ford Transit |
| Very large group | Two matched vehicles |
The vehicle you're assigned, how many it seats, and whether it's available are all confirmed when you book.
How much does a prom limo cost in Connecticut?

- Vehicle (limo, SUV, or Sprinter)
- Date (peak spring Saturdays book first)
- Number of pickup and drop-off addresses
Absolute quotes include tolls, and gratuity is applied. Call (203) 938-0000 for an exact quote.
