Toyota Oakdale Theatre: the pickup cutoff matters most
Oakdale is in neighboring Wallingford, a short trip from our North Haven base. It's the venue where the "chauffeur waits in the lot" idea doesn't work. The theatre's visit page says drop-off vehicles cannot remain in the lots during the event. Rideshare-style drop-offs use the red barn lot on the right as you pull into the driveway. Drivers must be back at least 45 minutes before the show ends. Accessible-lot pickups must arrive at least an hour before the end. After that, local police close incoming traffic until most cars have left.
What that means for your booking:
- Find the expected end time and set the return inside the venue's window.
- Hourly still helps: the chauffeur leaves during the show and returns before the cutoff, with nothing to rebook.

PeoplesBank Arena, Hartford: curb drop and text-when-ready
The former XL Center was renamed PeoplesBank Arena in 2025, same building and address. The arena's directions page routes drivers to Trumbull Street off I-91 or I-84, and parking is spread across downtown lots and garages. Two details shape a chauffeured night:
- No bag storage. The arena says large bags, backpacks and similar items are turned away, with no storage or check-in area. Leave them at home. On an hourly booking, ask whether items can stay in the vehicle.
- Plan for curb traffic after the show. Agree on a corner or landmark before you go in, then text your chauffeur as you walk out.

Mohegan Sun Arena: entrance and valet hours
The arena sits inside the resort, so the meeting point matters more than the parking. Mohegan Sun's arena policies list two entrances: Earth (by the Box Office) and Sky (near the Arena Club). Re-entry isn't allowed once the event is over, and the venue suggests agreeing on a meeting place in case your group gets split up.
The resort's parking page lists Sky Valet at 4:00–8:00 PM on concert nights as the valet point for the Sky Entrance. Hotel Valet runs 24 hours and connects to the Earth Entrance. There's no venue lot here. The FAQ points drivers to the Temple Street Garage two blocks away, and notes that coat check is seasonal and first-come and that the Loge and Balcony are stairs only. Pick a side-street pickup point before the show, because downtown curbs fill fast at closing time.
